Announces 10th Anniversary Show Dates

Tenth Annual Classic Gaming Expo Moves Back To
Las Vegas

The organizers of Classic Gaming Expo announced
today that the 2007 Classic Gaming Expo will be held July 28 and 29 at the
beautiful Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Looking at Las Vegas’ amazing and
numerous tourist attractions, and listening to the voice of the attendees, the
organizers felt compelled to move the show back to it’s roots; a more
vacation-friendly area that still provided the vast amount of show space
necessary for the expo.

“We were surprised to hear from many of our
attendees and celebrity guests alike that they would prefer the show to be held
in Las Vegas,” said Joe Santulli, co-organizer of Classic Gaming Expo.
“Attendance wasn’t really the issue in California. After all, what place could
be better to celebrate the roots of the videogame industry than Silicon Valley –
where it all began? There was just something missing and we believe it to be the
atmosphere and excitement that can only be found in Las Vegas.”

The Riviera Hotel boasts one of the largest
convention areas in Las Vegas and is one of the few places that can house the
approximately 1500 people who attended the last California show. The Riviera is
located on the Las Vegas strip and is centrally located to the airport and many
of the premiere attractions in Las Vegas. According to Santulli, the vast amount
of things to do in Las Vegas should appeal to those attendees that make Classic
Gaming Expo part of their family vacations.

Over the past ten years, people from all over the
world have attended Classic Gaming Expo to see the latest offerings from the
various exhibitors, visited the world’s largest and most comprehensive video
game museum, played classic and modern games, and met the luminaries of video
gaming’s past and present. In the history of the show such notable personalities
as Steve Wozniak, Nolan Bushnell, Ralph Baer, Al Alcorn, Jay Smith, David Crane
and hundreds of other celebrities have attended and spoken to the attendees.

“At World of Atari in 1998, our first show, none
of us ever imagined that we’d still be doing this ten years later,” commented
co-organizer John Hardie. “Over the years there have been some incredible
memories that we’ve shared with the classic gaming community. I’m happy to say
there are many special events planned for this year’s show that will make it the
best Classic Gaming Expo yet.”

Classic Gaming Expo is open to people of all ages
with an interest in video games – both classic and modern. Information about
