Fans of the Fable series will be exceptionally happy to know that Fable 3 was not the last visit to Albion. Lionhead has confirmed that they are hard at work on the next installment alongside Fable: The Journey.
The news come from the most recent issue of the Official Xbox Magazine (OXM). According to the issue, we can “look for the Fable cycle to continue with a proper, controller-based Fable 4 in 2013.” Eurogamer also jumped in on the Fable 4 news explaining that sources have hinted at the possibility of Fable 4 being a next Xbox launch title. If the launch title rumors are indeed true, then the rumors of the next Microsoft console being unveiled at E3 2012 may not be too far fetched.
Either way, Lionhead will be put to the task of rekindling the Fable fire that seemed to diminish when Fable 3 released last year.
