FANTASYJUNGLE.COM AND THE USO
ANNOUNCE FREE FANTASY FOOTBALL CONTEST FOR THE TROOPS

The Fantasy Jungle, a premier
fantasy sports Web site, and the USO (United Service Organizations) announced
today the addition of a FREE Fantasy Football Contest for this football season
for all members of the U.S. military, with more than $10,000 in cash prizes. It
is a salary cap style contest where players will have the option of selecting
their lineup each week, or keeping it the same from week to week. The prizes
will be awarded both weekly and to the top players overall.

The free fantasy football contest is
open to everyone and was launched this year by The Fantasy Jungle. The winner of
the contest will win $5,000, but if any member of the military wins, The Fantasy
Jungle will double the grand prize to $10,000. In addition, the highest weekly
score of the season will win $1,000, and each weekly winner will win $100.
Signups for Fantasy Jungle Free Football are open now and continue through Week
17 of the season. Every player who enters before Week 1 of the season is
eligible for the grand prize.

“The idea came about because we
wanted to do something for all of the men and women serving our country,”
comments Michael Williams, Fantasy Jungle Co-Owner. “Several of our customers
are currently serving in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan and have been drafting
this summer in our satellite leagues. They told us how much everyone loves
fantasy football, so we reached out to the USO, and came up with an idea to make
a free fantasy football contest available to all of the men and women in the
armed forces.”

“We are proud to partner with The
Fantasy Jungle as they demonstrate their support for America’s troops,” said
Sloan Gibson, USO president. “This is an excellent opportunity to boost the
morale of our men and women serving in uniform and deliver a home away from
home.”

The game was designed for
simplicity, yet is challenging and fun. Players simply need to log in each week
and submit their team, using a fictitious salary cap of $600. This eliminates
the need for a draft or having to make free agent bids or trades every week.
“Fantasy Football is such a fun thing to do, and it is growing by leaps and
bounds.

Because the members of our military
are often called into emergency situations, it isn’t as easy for them to have a
scheduled draft or be able to submit free agent bids at a certain time every
week. This game gives them the opportunity to enjoy fantasy football wherever
they’re serving, while being the GM of their team and making all the decisions,”
says Scott Gunaca, Fantasy Jungle Co-Owner.

In addition to the free game, the
contest provides all players with access to player statistics during the season,
great free fantasy football content that includes articles and rankings, live
scoring and access to everything that The Fantasy Jungle offers to its
customers. Each person may operate one team per user ID, and can get that ID by
