New Developer Diary Entry for
Supreme Ruler 2020: Global Crisis Released

Paradox Interactive today posted the
new developer diary entry from David Thompson, Lead Developer on Supreme Ruler
2020: Global Crisis. The latest entry closely examines the multiplayer features.

Prior to the upcoming Global Crisis
expansion pack, multiplayer scenarios would typically last several hours. To
offer an alternative, the development team has created ten new multiplayer
scenarios designed specifically for shorter gameplay. Additionally, the new
scenarios allow up to 16 players to participate.

One highlighted scenario involves an
invasion of the United Kingdom. In this scenario, entitled “Channeling Victory,”
one player takes the role of the leader of the United Kingdom and has to keep
London secure during an attack across the English Channel by other players
taking the roles of France, Germany, and several other European nations.
