Hands On with Abbey Road for The
Beatles: Rock Band

One of the most influential
albums of all time gets the full treatment on The Beatles: Rock Band.
One of the most well-known and
influential albums of all time, The Beatles’ Abbey Road was truly a landmark of
production and rock music. Now, gamers have the opportunity to play the album in
full courtesy of the Abbey Road album DLC for The Beatles: Rock Band.
While owners of the game already
have the songs "Octopus’s Garden", "Here Comes the Sun", "Come Together",
"Something", "I Want You (She’s So Heavy)", and "The End", the Abbey Road pack
rounds out the package and gives players the opportunity to play the album in
its entirety.
The Abbey Road pack gives you the
following songs:

"You Never Give Me Your Money"

As you might notice, some of the
songs have been lumped together into one cohesive set in order to preserve the
original flow as it was on the album. However, strangely, the hidden track from
the Abbey Road album "Her Majesty" is given its own track, although the song is
only 23 seconds long.
One unique feature in this album DLC
pack is the inclusion of the Abbey Road Medley, a more than 15-minute jam of
several songs from the album. Just like the other tracks in the DLC and the
original game, the Abbey Road Medley has its own set of Dreamscape sequences.
The Abbey Road Medley is a blast to play through for any fan of The Beatles,
presenting a fine retrospective on the new content as well as one of the most
loved albums in history.
The Dreamscape sequences are present
for all of the new tracks, utilizing art from the original game in order to
ensure that the new content has a smaller footprint on your hard drive. The new
sequences look as great as those featured in the actual game, and are a
fantastic touch.
The Abbey Road DLC is well worth a
look from fans of the band and of the original game, presenting one of the
timeless band’s most influential and important albums, and arguably one of the
