HER INTERACTIVE SECURES TOP SPOT
AS #1 PC GAME IN NORTH AMERICA FOR JULY LAUNCH AS COMPANY ANNOUNCES SECOND PC
OFFERING FOR 2008

A New Mystery Awaits in the
Emerald Isle In ‘Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy ’

Acknowledging its expertise in the
rapidly expanding market of video games for female players, Her Interactive
Inc., the designer, developer and distributor of the award-winning Nancy Drew®
PC games series, today announced that Nancy Drew®: The Phantom of Venice has
debuted as the #1 PC game in North America on NPD’s sales charts at launch for
the week ending July 12th. It is the second consecutive year in which the
successful publisher has placed a game in the #1 sales spot. Additionally, Her
Interactive announced its second PC game offering for the year with Nancy Drew®:
The Haunting of Castle Malloy.

“Our understanding of such a
sought-after demographic is a unique component of our company – especially at a
time when the female player is becoming a driving force in game sales, both
online and at retail,” said Megan Gaiser, president and CEO of Her Interactive.
“We are extremely pleased with our ongoing success and look forward to bringing
our consumers another great game in Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy.”

In Nancy Drew: The Haunting of
Castle Malloy, Nancy Drew arrives in Ireland for what should be the joyous
occasion of her friend’s wedding. When the unthinkable happens and the groom is
nowhere to be found, Nancy must put her detective skills to work to determine if
this is a case of cold feet or something far more sinister. Many of the local
residents recount age-old rumors of a banshee haunting the Castle Malloy, and
that has Nancy wondering if this rumored spirit has played a part in the groom’s
disappearance.

As Nancy, players will immerse
themselves in Irish folklore, and play elaborate puzzles centered around her
friend’s wedding such as designing floral bouquets, creating seating charts and
printing wedding programs. The bride’s best man is also the ex-boyfriend, so
perhaps this isn’t your typical love story and Nancy may have to sort through a
possible love triangle to discover the truth.

Rated “E” for Everyone, Nancy Drew:
The Haunting of Castle Malloy will be available for purchase this October at
retailers nationwide, as well as from the Her Interactive website for a
suggested retail price of $19.99. More information about Her Interactive and the
