Konami Ships DanceDanceRevolution
X for PlayStation 2

Successful Rhythm Based Game
Celebrates 10th Anniversary with the Release of Brand New Title Featuring
Exciting New Gameplay

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
announced today that DanceDanceRevolution X for the PlayStation 2 has shipped to
retail outlets nationwide. The "X" says it all as the game is being released as
part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the enormously popular and
successful rhythm based game. The latest release for the PlayStation 2,
DanceDanceRevolution X offers fans new characters, an original soundtrack,
enhanced graphics, interactive gameplay, and innovative new game modes.

In DanceDanceRevolution X, players
can dance their way through a soundtrack that is filled with over 70 major hits
packed with brand new songs from some of today’s top artists. Additionally,
players can enjoy the ultimate club experience as they can dance to continuous
DJ mixes of multiple songs. Featuring the brand new LAN Battle Mode,
DanceDanceRevolution X lets up to eight players battle simultaneously through
the LAN lines on their PlayStation 2 system. Also, in continuing the game’s
reputation for improving fitness levels, players can work up a sweat by
customizing their own workout programs and, by plugging in the EyeToy USB Camera
(for PlayStation 2) peripheral, they can put themselves in the game.

After a decade as one of the most
popular franchises in the music genre, DanceDanceRevolution has transcended from
a video game into a pop culture phenomenon. The game has been available on most
consoles including all three PlayStations, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Revolutionizing the get-up-and-move concept for video games,
DanceDanceRevolution combines high-energy music with fun-filled gameplay. The
game has swept into the pop culture psyche as it has had its own television
program on CBS, is regularly featured on primetime television and music videos,
has its own fan club and fan sites, is part of the physical education program in
many school districts, and has been featured workout in fitness clubs across the
United States.

As part of the 10th anniversary
celebration, Konami will also allow fans to move their feet to different beats
on the Xbox 360 and Wii with the release of DanceDanceRevolution UNIVERSE3 and
DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 2, respectively.

DanceDanceRevolution X is rated
"E-10+" and is now available for the PlayStation 2. A stand-alone version of
DanceDanceRevolution X will be available for $29.99, while the bundle, which
comes complete with controller, will be available for $49.99. For more
