Merscom
to Create New Hidden Object Franchise, Coyote’s Tale
From the team that developed
Blood Ties
Merscom announced at Casual Connect
Seattle it will be launching an original hidden objects franchise, with the
first title, Coyote’s Tale: Fire and Water, scheduled for launch in Q3 2008.
Coyote’s Tale: Fire and Water is the brainchild of Matt Shetler, Merscom’s
Producer for the Blood Ties project, and is being developed by GO! Games, the
Siberian developer who also developed Blood Ties.
Coyote’s Tale: Fire and Water begins
with two sisters vacationing in Mexico. But what was supposed to be a pleasant
time is interrupted by a torrential thunderstorm, and the two women soon become
caught in a mythical adventure lead by Coyote, an ancient storytelling god. The
sisters set out to help restore balance to an unstable universe, but cryptic
warnings about a mysterious betrayer suggest that something more sinister is at
work.
