PAC-MAN Arcade Golf Putts onto
Mobile Phones

Namco Networks brings mini-golf
challenges, more than 100 mini-games and customized characters to consumers

It’s a hole in one as Namco
Networks, the leading publisher and developer of mobile games and entertainment
for mass-market casual gamers, today announced the availability of PAC-MAN®
Arcade GolfTM, challenging players to complete 27 holes of mini-golf in three
courses and master more than 100 mini-games in this combination of mini-golf and
classic arcade game fun for the mobile phone.

“By combining some of Namco’s most
popular arcade classics with a fun mini-golf game, PAC-MAN Arcade Golf provides
a mobile game everyone will enjoy,” said Scott Rubin, senior vice president of
sales and marketing, Namco Networks. “At Namco Networks, we’re focused on
creating fun casual games that appeal to mass-market consumers. We are
continually committed to developing quality games that are easy to learn, fun to
play and provide players with ongoing challenges.”

Playing as one of four unique
golfers, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, players putt their way
around the world on international mini-golf courses. In traditional mini-golf
style, each increasingly challenging course contains bumpers, walls and warp
holes. New twists to the mini-golf concept include bonus fruit from PAC-MAN, and
coins that can be collected and then used to activate arcade machines found on
the course.

Sinking the ball into an arcade
machine allows players to access one of more than 100 retro mini-games based on
best-selling arcade games including PAC-MAN®, Dig Dug®, Galaxian® and a claw
machine. Once players master the mini-games, PAC-MAN® will become available as
an additional golfer the player can choose.

PAC-MAN Arcade Golf includes Quick
Play, Tournament, Challenges, and Mini-Game mode. Within Tournament mode,
players players travel through Europe, the US and Japan and play three 9-hole
courses in tournaments against computer-controled players. Quick Play mode
allows players to choose one of the three courses and challenge up to three
other friends to one, three or nine holes (single and multiplayer options are
available, allowing up to four players to compete concurrently on the same
handset). Challenges mode features eight holes, each with certain criteria for
the player to meet in order to advance. In Mini-Games mode, players can skip
right ahead to the arcade mini-games.
