Space Invaders Extreme Drops New
DLC
Retro gamers get emulators, new
stages, bosses, gamerpics and themes
Taito Corp. today announced new
downloadable content (DLC) is now available for the next round of Space Invaders
Extreme on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360. The expansion pack will contain
three new stages, new enemies and three new bosses.
Players can now take a retro trip
back to the days of arcade stand-up with the first shooter video game that
started it all. The expansion pack also includes two emulators of the original
1978 black-and-white Space Invaders, and 8-bit color Space Invaders 2. The DLC
is available for 240 Microsoft Points.
In addition to the release of the
DLC expansion pack, two new Space Invaders Extreme gamerpics pack (80 Microsoft
Points) and themes pack (160 Microsoft Points) is also available for download on
Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360.

Space Invaders Extreme is rated “E” by the ESRB.
