PokePark 2 launches next month, looks kind of cool

Geez, you guys, I really want to play PokePark 2: Wonder Beyond. The sequel to PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure looks to improve on what its predecessor brought to the table. Considering we awarded the first game a good score of 7 / 10, I'd say improving on some stuff would definitely make for a Wii title to watch out for if you're a Pokefanatic.

Last time, you were tasked with playing primarily as Pikachu. That's cool and all, but that little yellow electric mouse thing is getting kind of played out, don't you think? I certainly do, and that's why I'm glad PokePark 2 will feature three new playable Pokemon.

In addition to Pikachu, you can play as Snivy, Oshawott, and my personal Pokemon Black & White favorite, Tepig. Even cooler is the fact that this game actually supports four-player co-op. The main complaint I heard about PokePark Wii was the lack of a multiplayer mode. I'm glad to see that's being addressed in PokePark 2.

This sequel seems to have a bit more adventuring, too, which is definitely a good thing. The original PokePark Wii was basically a single-player mini-game fest. While I can't tell for sure if this game will be just as heavy on the quick activities, it's good to see more emphasis on actual action-adventure gameplay.

PokePark 2 lands on the Wii on February 27. I'll definitely be watching out for this one, because you're never too old to like Pokemon. Got that?!
