Sine Mora bosses designed by famed anime creator

I don't own an Xbox 360 because, with the exception of Trials HD, the upcoming Fez, and a few other downloadable titles, there really aren't any exclusives I care about on that console. And before you get on my ass about Halo and Gears of War, all I have to say is that Halo is a respectable franchise, but I can't really say I care about Gears of War and its buff-men-with-tiny-heads design. Now, though, there's another game that really makes me want an Xbox 360, and will you look at that, it's a downloadable title yet again.

You've probably heard of Sine Mora, the upcoming dieselpunk shoot 'em up from Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture. If you haven't, then all you really need to know is that it's a nice-looking shoot 'em up, and Suda51 of No More Heroes and Killer7 fame is working on it, which means it has the potential to be awesome.

Also, do you remember Mahiro Maeda? He's that famous anime creator who worked on The Animatrix and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Still doesn't ring a bell? OK, how about this? Remember that badass animation sequence in Kill Bill Vol. 1? Yeah, this guy worked on that awesome masterpiece. Well, he's back, and he's responsible for the boss designs in Sine Mora. I was already stoked about this game when I heard Suda51 was working on it, but this just gets me more pumped!

Oh, and because I'm such a nice guy, here's another interesting tidbit of information regarding Sine Mora: Akira Yamaoka, the awesome composer who created the music in Silent Hill and Shadows of the Damned, will be providing tunes for the upcoming shoot 'em up. Sine Mora is scheduled to launch exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade this year. Watch out for it. Or else.
