The PlayStation Store gets Grand Theft Auto IV

If you own a PlayStation 3 and have never played Grand Theft Auto IV but have been meaning to, well, now's your chance. You seriously have no excuses this time. It's not like you can say, "I don't feel like leaving my house to get the game," because now you don't need to leave your dwelling to pick up Rockstar Games' last main GTA game.

For the first time ever, GTA IV has landed on the PlayStation Store. You can snag a digital copy of the main game for just $19.99, which is reasonable. If you want the extra content, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, you can purchase GTA IV: Complete Edition for $29.99. Again, very reasonable.

I guess this is my chance to finally own GTA IV. To be quite honest, I haven't been interested in the series all that much as of late. GTA IV seemed very boring to me, and I never found its main character appealing enough for me to give Rockstar my money for the game. Then there's GTA V, which looks like a boring mess of stuff I don't care for in my video games.

Still, I may just give GTA IV another chance and tak advantage of its availability. If you've yet to play the game, maybe you should check it out, too. You can also score GTA: Chinatown Wars (which is way better than GTA IV) and GTA III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition on iOS devices for just 99 cents apiece. Not a bad deal.
