Shadowrun Returns funded in 28 hours on Kickstarter

The power of fans who want more of a game they love.  The last time I played Shadowrun, it was a mess on the Xbox 360.  On their Kickstarter page, Jordan Weisman, the creator of Shadowrun, and team shared their thanks for the people that helped them reach their goal of $400,000.  They got to $461,979 currently, through 10,210 backers.  Did I mention they still have 23 days to go?  Oh, and the more money they raise, the more features we get.

There are different levels of pledges that you can make, each with different rewards, but the most pledged is the lowest of $15, which gets you a digital download copy of the game, DRM Free on PC and one exclusive desktop wallpaper for PC, Mac, tablet, or mobile device.  Two backers have pledge the highest pledge of $10,000 or more, which gets them tons of rewards and a visit from Mike Mulvihill, who led Shadowrun game development at FASA corp; he comes to your town to run a tabletop game of Shadowrun for you and five of your friends.

To find out what the gameplay and the ideas for Shadowrun Returns will entail, head over to their Kickstarter page and learn about this world that mashes up dystopian Cyberpunk future of Blade Runner with the high fantasy creatures of Lord of the Rings.
