Lollipop Chainsaw has a must see ending

Ending a video game is never an easy task, just ask BioWare.  Of course, a game like Mass Effect 3 has years of content built up.  But that doesn't mean an ending for a game like Lollipop Chainsaw can slack off.

In fact, Suda 51 emphasized to us the importance of paying attention to the game's ending.

For those who don't know, Lollipop Chainsaw is a zombie slaying, action game that tells the "un-deadly" story of sweet zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak.  It's crazy, it's fun, it's action-packed, and it's from the twisted mind of Suda 51 (so you know it's going to be entertaining).

Juliet Starling is a sexy, high school cheerleader (yes, she is over 18) who wields a deadly chainsaw and wears a sexy cheerleading outfit (among other more revealing outfits).  Attached to her is the head of her boyfriend, Nick.  Throughout the game he will help Juliet on her quest to uncover and end the zombie outbreak.

According to the game's creative director Goichi 'Suda 51' Suda, however, Nick has more of a purpose.  In fact, the game's story is much larger than zombie slaying.

"Theres a love story element to it," Suda 51 said to me during an interview.  "Please pay attention to that love story."

"This is a good combination of love story and action.  This is a great love-action game," he added.  Suda 51 didn't stop there.  He teased that the ending of Lollipop Chainsaw is a must see, that all fans should really pay attention to.

"You have to really see the ending too," he emphasized.  "Please pay attention to the ending."

Suda 51 is known for his over-the-top, whacky games, but if there's one thing you can count on with him it's a good story with a solid ending.  He didn't tell us what the ending would be, but judging from his passion it's going to be a real can't miss doozy.  The wait won't be much longer.  Lollipop Chainsaw is set to hit store shelves on June 12th.
