Today on Facebook, developer Beenox revealed that Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat, will appear in The Amazing Spider-Man game.

The game's events take place after those of the upcoming movie, also titled The Amazing Spider-Man. Sony has already contracted Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek) to rewrite the film's sequel, which will enter production early next year.

Accompanying the unveiling of Black Cat, Beenox said the character “may not have Spidey’s best interests in mind."

Beenox has previously confirmed villains Rhino and Iguana for the game.
