NewsWii U box art has been 'finalized', says Nintendo
What you've seen with the Wii U box art is what you'll get. Not long after Ubisoft confirmed the Wii U software box art as "legit", Nintendo has done the same. Speaking to Nintendo World Report, the platform holder said they have "finalized" the design of the Wii U game box art.
"Nintendo has finalized the design of the Wii U game box art, and many of our publishing partners have already incorporated it into their own game packaging," Nintendo said. "We are seeing those game packages online as retailers are starting to showcase their games."
Nintendo added: "For details about a specific game's artwork, please contact the game's publisher. Nintendo-published game boxes will appear shortly with placeholder logos, and then ultimately with the final artwork for each game."
The box art that we've seen is very similar to that of the Gamecube game boxes. It uses the same convex shape with an outline and the Wii U logo in the center. Are you a fan of this design?
