The Walking Dead Season 3.5 poster calls for ‘an eye for an eye’

AMC has released a new promotion poster for the second half of Season 3 of The Walking Dead which is set to return next month for what's sure to be a thrilling continuation.

The poster shows Rick along with The Governor, fresh off of his incident with Michonne, along with the caption "An Eye for an Eye." Although Rick wasn't personally responsible for Michonne's stabbing The Governor, he is seen as a threat to the town of Woodbury. Season Three left off with Rick and his group breaking into the town to rescue Glenn and Maggie. Michonne confronted The Governor and Daryl got left behind (though reunited with his brother Merle). Needless to say, The Governor wants his revenge on Rick's group of survivors currently holed up in the prison.

Last week received two promotional videos for the second half of The Walking Dead's Season 3 which seemed to focus on human on human violence. There was a noticeable lack of zombie slaughter as it emphasized the feud between Rick and The Governor, which I'm sure will consume the majority of the second half of Season 3.

What are your thoughts on the poster and are you happy with the direction the show is heading?
