Final Fantasy XIV beta starts soon, see if you can run it with the official benchmark

Final Fantasy fans, it's time to ready up your PCs, and (hopefully) get that invite for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's closed beta event that's set to kick off on February 25th. This closed beta will focus on the PC version of the game, which means PS3 owners will have to wait until the last two phases of the closed beta which are coming at a later date.

Those invited to the closed beta will get to try out the new Full Active Time Events, "FATE," which is a part of the new gameplay system. These events are randomly occuring and will allow players to participate in them just by being in close proximity of them.

To see if your PC is up for the task, you can download the official benchmark from the Final Fantasy XIV site. The benchmark will allow you to adjust settings based on your PC specs to get the most out of the game, while obviously balancing framerate.
