Bethesda terrifies us with new game, The Evil Within

What the f**k did I just watch? Bethesda today released the premiere trailer — well, more of a live-action teaser — of its new game, The Evil Within. The video itself, which debuted exclusively on IGN (because what doesn't these days?), didn't really show much. Though it was quite disturbing. Even after watching it over again, I still don't know what to take from it — other than it looks terrifying. Check it out below and see what you can make from it.

What we do know about the game is that it's a survival-horror from legendary developer Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4) and Bethesda's Japanese studio, Tango Gameworks.

"Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story weave together to create an immersive world that will bring players to the height of tension," a very brief description reads.

The Evil Within due out for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and next-gen consoles in 2014.
