PS4 launch bundles back in stock at Amazon, Xbox One Day One Edition remains sold out

Those who missed out on the first round of PlayStation 4 launch-day bundles have found themselves with a second chance. Amazon has replenished its stock, ensuring that anyone who orders one of the PS4 launch bundles will receive their brand new console on the release day — whenever that happens to be.

An official Amazon Twitter account confirmed the launch day consoles are "guaranteed on release date." Current pre-order options include the PS4 bundled with Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Watch Dogs, or Knack.

Interestingly, the simple launch edition of the PS4, without any game attached, is still listed as "currently unavailable." I guess if you only want just the console you'll have to get the standard edition which will ship based on availability. Or you could head over to Wal-Mart or Target; the PS4 is still sold out at GameStop.

And for those attempting to keep score of the next-gen pre-order race, Amazon is still sold out of Xbox One Day One Editions. So much for two to three times more launch units, right?
