PS Vita Slim coming bundled with Borderlands 2 this spring

Update: Sony has confirmed that the bundle will include an 8GB memory card.

North America is getting the redesigned PlayStation Vita "Slim" this spring. At $200, it'll come bundled with Borderlands 2.

The PCH-2000 model swaps the OLED screen on the original Vita for a slightly lower-grade LCD. The handheld itself is lighter and thinner and features improved battery life. The current Vita model also costs $200, but it doesn't come with a game or memory card (the selection is rather pricey).

Borderlands 2 launched back in 2012, but Gearbox Software is adding new perks to the Vita version of the action role-playing shooter. In addition to cross-platform save compatibility with the PlayStation 3 version, Borderlands 2 for Vita will include four-player co-op and all six downloadable content packs already released for the game.

Iron Galaxy Studios is working with Gearbox to develop the release.
