Total War: Rome 2 teaches the true meaning of fear

Sun Tzu once said: “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

While knowing one’s enemy is often key, knowing what they fear can give you the ultimate edge in combat. A weakened psyche on the battlefield can quickly result in a loss; especially if your enemy knows this. Whether it’s numbers, tactics, or just horrific creatures – fear can be on your side. The devs over at Creative Assembly know this, and have made this a feature in Total War: Rome II.

Use a combination of these fear traits and special unites to break the moral of your foes and send them running home to their mommas. Feed off their fear and make the day yours. Check out the video above and learn these fear tactics.
