R.B.I. Baseball 14 available on Android today

Remember the classic baseball franchise R.B.I. Baseball? Well, it's back. While the game is already available on the iOS App Store, Major League Baseball Advanced Media now has the game available for Android devices on Google Play for $4.99. I haven't played it, as most of my time has been with MLB 14 The Show, but it's gotten mixed reviews on Android and iOS.

R.B.I. Baseball 14 features all 30 MLB teams and 480 current MLB players. You can play a single nine-inning game, or you can tackle custom team challenges in season mode.

The game is also available on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 and the Xbox Marketplace for Xbox 360 for the price of $14.99. While not released yet, versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are on the way.

I guess my biggest question — after why would someone get this over The Show on PS3 or PS4 — is why is there a Seth Meyers quote on the game pages in both the iOS App Store and Google Play? Seriously, it reads: "I am wildly excited about the relaunch of R.B.I. Baseball" -Seth Meyers.

If that doesn't scream PR quote…
