Has The Order: 1886 been delayed to 2015?

Despite absolutely no announcement from Sony whatsoever, there seems to be a rumor circulating regarding the release of The Order: 1886 for PlayStation 4. And that is that it’s not actually releasing in 2014 as Sony had originally told us (even though the actual PlayStation site still lists it as “TBD”). It’s now believed that the highly anticipated PS4 exclusive has been pushed back to 2015.

The rumor, I believe, stems from none other than Shinobi who teased "It’s not going to be on anyone’s 2014 GOTY lists" when asked about the game. Shinobi is notorious for leaking video game news ahead of the actual announcements, and it's believed he learned this by attending or knowing someone who attended a pre-E3 event hosted by Sony.

He then responded with a series of cryptic tweets that certainly hint at The Order being delayed.

As you can imagine, it didn't take long for the internet to pick up on this. Adding further fuel to rumor fire was Pete Dodd (the man behind the #PS4NoDRM campaign) also tweeted that The Order: 1886 will be part of an impressive 2015 lineup of games.

Now we didn't go to Sony's pre-E3 event (they must've lost our invitation in the mail *wink*), but it's worth noting that we, too, have heard from various sources that The Order: 1886 is being delayed. It's worth pointing out that Sony hasn't publicly announced anything, but given that tomorrow is the day the embargo allegedly lifts, I'm assuming that's when we'll learn if it's true. And if not, there's always E3 in June.
