Bloodborne is described by FromSoftware as an action-RPG, but so far all the developer has shown off has been the action aspect of the game. Addressing fans' concerns at PlayStation Experience, game director Hidetaka Miyazaki assured Bloodborne will have customization comparable to Dark Souls 2 and other role-playing games.
"We haven't revealed much information on that, and it's going to remain that way for today," Miyazaki told a crowd of fans.
"However, I can say that the customization of the range or scope as you saw in Dark Souls 2," he said. "You can assume that is something Bloodborne will offer, as well as features that are very unique to our new game.
"Also, this is an Action RPG, so just to clarify, we will have that is expected in terms of customization in an RPG. That comes down to weapons, equipment, etc. Everything that is expected, this game will have," Miyazaki concluded.
So far, most of what we've seen has featured the male character who dons black trench coat and wields the shotgun and transforming sword, but with Bloodborne not due out until March 2015, there's still plenty of time to show off customization features.
During the Bloodborne panel, Miyazaki also addressed concerns about the game's framerate. Check out what he said here.
