Capcom is one of the third party developers making games for the Nintendo Switch, but it looks like one of their newest ones will not be making the transition to the new console.
Producer Masachika Kawata spoke with Expressco, and indicated that Resident Evil 7 Biohazard won't be making the trek to Nintendo's new console.
"I think it's a very unique piece of hardware. I'm looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch."
The game will release this Tuesday on January 24th, with all pre-orders going live at 7PM eastern time. Those who are playing on Xbox One should also note that it was announced that Resident Evil 7 will be the first third party game to be playable on the Xbox Play Anywhere program. There will also be a bunch of free DLC excluding the season pass content on all platforms.
Resident Evil 7 will be out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC
