A Crazy Earl once said, "See you later!" Now it looks as if the Crazy Earl is back and will make an appearance in Gearbox's Borderlands 2. According to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, he "just finished a voice over session for Crazy Earl in Borderlands 2! Fun Stuff!"
For those who don't know, Crazy Earl is a dashingly handsome NPC who provides several missions that continue the main story, and several side missions, in the original Borderlands game. Earl lives in a house with a fortified door, not far from the entrance to his scrapyard. Player's first "Meet Crazy Earl" through a mission given by Patricia Tannis in which they must go to the Scrapyard and blow up the barricaded entrance.
What role Crazy Earl will play in Borderlands 2 is unknown right now, but seeing as how the game still takes place on Pandora you can expect some more missions at the lovely Earl's Scrapyard. I wonder if Earl's best friend, Skrappy, will make an appearance.
