Developer gets Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 running on Nintendo Switch

Impressive.

People have been begging for a lot of their favorite games to come to the Nintendo Switch. Who doesn't want to bring great games like The Witcher 3 with them whereever they go? While we will be getting ports of games like Skyrim, it seems like some developers are less keen on investing in the platform. Some say they simply don't want to get burnt by a console that doesn't sell many units and others have just said it's an underpowered system.

This has lead to some confusion on what can and can't come to Switch due to simply hardware restrictions but there's one team out there trying to get a bunch of games running on the console. Andrew Sampson with the Rainway App team tweeted out several videos today showing games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Nier: Automata running on the Nintendo Switch.

Rainway is an app that allows users to stream their PC games to any device they've got. While the videos do show the games running at a laggy frame-rate, Sampson said that it's a work in progress and they're ironing out the issues. It's not a hardware issue.

There's no word as to when the Rainway app will make its way to Nintendo Switch (if Nintendo even allows it) so stay tuned to GameZone for more info.
