Elrond, the leader of Rivendell, now available in Guardians of Middle-earth

Mr. Anderson…

One of my favorite Lord of the Rings characters is finally in the console MOBA, Guardians of Middle-earth. Elrond — portrayed by Hugo Weaving in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and in The Hobbit — is the Half-elven ruler of Rivendell, a great leader, and father to Arwen. He was a key figure at the end of the Second Age when the Last Alliance of Elves and Men defeated Sauron in the Battle of Dagorlad. Against Elrond's best advice, Isildur didn't throw the ring into the fire at Mount Doom.

In Guardians of Middle-earth, Elrond's class is Tactician. His gameplay abilities are:

  • Call of Rivendell: Increases movement and attack speeds, damage
  • Elven Grace: Damages enemies and give stealth to allies
  • Take Refuge: Area of effect increases health and resistances
  • Honored Guard: Summons an archer to damage and slow enemies

Elrond is available now in Guardians of Middle-earth, which is for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
