Football Manager 2016 announce astonishing new features

They really have pushed the boat out this time around...

Create a club, Fantasy Draft, Custom managers, FM 16 Touch, transfer and contract improvements, deeper analysis and much more. Well, what more could we really ask for?

The largest framework of footballing/soccer scouts on the planet have been working tirelessly over the last few years to deliver the most accurate gameplay, and now it looks like fans can go that bit further. Not only will gamers get the chance to manage some of the greatest clubs on the planet, but in the game's newest title – FM16 – you will be able to create your very own club from scratch.

Football Manager's official Twitter account revealed the following:

Noticeably, several new features all seemingly interlock to support the incoming "Create-A-Club" mode. For example, the Fantasy Draft will allow gamers to select players in a similar fashion to the NFL in America, which is pretty cool.

As you can imagine, this feature will allow your newly established club to be given a level playing field, especially if you were to start in a major league, such as the Premier League in England. However, in order to keep the game realistic, we understand that Football Manager have improved their match engine, including all new AI technology. So creating a new club might be a bigger challenge than first thought.

Don't worry, even if your new club suffers some horrendous defeats, Football Manager 16 will ensure that your manager is looking his best with the all new custom manager settings. Much like the Pro Evolution Soccer games on console, FM will allow fans to edit their manager with a hope that one day, he will be presented in bronze outside of their stadium. Much like Bill Shankly's statue (below), positioned just outside Liverpool FC's famous Anfield stadium.

Well it's not all about creativity unfortunately, what makes football managers successful in modern times is their performance in the transfer window. Many of the world's leading managers are very successful in bargaining for other players, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Sir Alex Ferguson to name a few.

This year's Football Manager title will allow PC gamers to feel the full strain of the transfer window like no other, as the franchise announced that their would be even more improvements to player contracts, new contract screens and much more.

Moving away from actual game content, Football Manager seemingly want to encourage players to not only base themselves in front of the PC, but to play the game on the go. FM Touch will allow cross-play between both handheld devices and desktop play, connecting the overall Football Manager experience with all platforms.

Football Manager 2016 is set to be released on November 13th, and judging by these new features it would be very much worth your while. If you would like to check out some other features, Football Manager will be releasing a few more on their Twitter page throughout the day.
