Mobile Games Exceed $10 Million In The US

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today
announced the three Frogger mobile games, Frogger, Frogger Puzzle, and Frogger
for Prizes have exceeded $10 million in gross sales to date. In celebration of
Frogger’s 25th anniversary, Konami will launch Frogger 25th Evolution this fall.

“At 25 years and going strong, the frog’s still
got it. By pairing a beloved icon with simple, yet compelling gameplay, we’ve
hit on the winning formula for what people want in a mobile game – simple,
classic, casual,” commented Joe Morris, vice president, mobile content, Konami
Digital Entertainment.

Frogger is a 1981 arcade game licensed for U.S.
distribution by Sega/Gremlin, and developed by Konami. The game is regarded as a
