Nintendo has an uphill battle ahead of it as it continues to push the 3DS. Earlier today we got word that a new Flame Red 3DS would launch alongside Star Fox 64 3D. Now, a new color doesn’t exactly equal sales, but quality software can certainly help.
Two games that 3DS owners should be looking forward to will be launching later this year. The first is Super Mario 3D Land, which looks pretty awesome and will feature the incredible Tanooki Suit. Expect Mario’s stereoscopic 3D romp to land on the handheld on November 13.
The second game to watch out for is Mario Kart 7. Anyone who’s played Nintendo’s famed kart-racing series can attest to just how intuitive and addictive the games can be. 3DS owners will be able to get their hands on the next entry in the Mario Kart franchise on December 4.
A new color and two promising holiday releases. Throw in Star Fox 64 3D and you’ve got three titles to look forward to if you’re a 3DS owner (or if you plan on getting the system down the line). Watch out for these games when they land later this year. Can Nintendo turn things around for the 3DS by turning out the big names now?
