After sitting in on Square Enix’s behind-closed-doors preview of Life Is Strange, I’m sad to report that we still don’t have a release date for Episode 2. That’s because Square Enix doesn’t have a release date yet.
The good news is, the game is finished, according to the Square Enix representative, and is currently undergoing certification testing.
“We’ve actually finished [episode 2],” the representative said. “As soon as we know the date, we’ll let you guys know.”
“It’s very key for us is that the frequency of the cadence that they’re hitting is regular. We want you to know and remember your traces and stuff; very soon, though. We’ll announce it as soon as possible.”
Life Is Strange Episode 2 is currently on track to release some time this month. Stay tuned for our impressions of the preview.
