Seth Killian: Capcom “May Have Mega Man News”

GameZone's Vito Gesualdi recently attended Capcom's exclusive fight club event, getting a look at at Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. While there, GameZone had the opportunity to talk to Capcom Special Advisor Seth Killian about the games and potential characters they we could see added to the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom franchise.

After making a few ridiculous requests, we finally asked a question that struck close to the hearts of many.  We asked Seth if he could "get Megaman off the moon" and add him to Marvel vs Capcom to which Seth replied:

"We tried.  It didn't work out."

Now this could be taken in two directions.  Did they try to get Mega Man to make an appearance in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3?  Or is he referring to the attempt to get Mega Man "off the god d*mn moon" in Mega Man Legends 3.  When asked what he meant, Seth admitted:

"We have eaten a giant plate of unhappiness on this one." Seth continued, "Mega Man is very, very close to my heart."

Of course, we had ulterior motives when asking this question (I'm referring to the recently cancelled Mega Man Legends 3).  More Seth, more!  Give us something about Mega Man!  We know you want to!

"Hang in there, we may have some Mega Man news….Maybe".

Boom!  There it is!  We MAY have some Mega Man news coming from Capcom…just maybe!  You could just tell the whole Mega Man thing was eating away at him, and he wanted to share something.  Is Capcom booting up the Mega Man Legends 3 project again?  Inafune did mention that he wanted to continue working on Mega Man Legends 3, but recalled Capcom refusing his offer.  Maybe they are going back on their initial decision after the public outcry?

Watch the full interview with Seth Killian below and see what characters we propose they add to the Marvel vs Capcom 3.  For the specific Mega Man Legends 3 clip, skip to 13:33.
