As you're probably aware by now, Respawn Entertainment has rolled out game update #9 for Titanfall which, according to the developer, provides "minor bug fixes and connectivity fixes." The update is for the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.
Towards the end of last year, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella said they had no new content planned for Titanfall, but added that it "doesn't mean there won't be." However, in that same interview with Game Informer, he pointed out that it's probably time to start looking towards their next game.
"We've been putting so much effort into content to support this game up to this point that it's been a little debilitating in moving onto the next game," he said.
We don't know what Respawn Entertainment's new game will be, but Zampella said it will not "necessarily be exclusive," and that it may or may not have to do with EA. We do know, however, that the studio has been split into two teams; one working on a new game entirely, and the other working on a sequel to Titanfall.
This all seems a long way off though, so for now just enjoy the latest Titanfall update.
