We have seen plenty of leaks for the upcoming Assassin's Creed game, which is said to be titled Assassin's Creed Origins, but apparently, those weren't enough. A new leak has seen the first bit of the Assassin's Creed Origins trailer leak, which confirms the title and the setting being Egypt.
Now, this could be an elaborate fake, however, that would suggest someone modeled Thebes, Egypt and recorded a fly through of it, then put it on a movie theater screen. The leak doesn't include the entire trailer, but simply a teaser of what we will be getting.
If this isn't a fake, then it might fall under one of the controlled leaks that were said to be occurring… That or it's a true leak – who knows!
While the first bit of the trailer might have leaked (cannot verify whether it's real or not), another leak from insider Liam Robertson has received confirmation that the game is indeed titled Assassin's Creed Origins via merchandise for the game.
The merchandise, images housed on WWG, show the traditional Assassin's Creed logo with a slight Egyptian variation. On top of that, an image of what could be the main protagonist was revealed.
Take all leaks and rumors with a grain of salt.
