The latest issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly had a small tidbit of information we were able to pick out. Apparently Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of the Final Fantasy series has beef with Ken Kutaragi, the former President of Sony Computer Entertainment.
EGM had asked why no projects were planned for the PS3 by Sakaguchi. Sakaguchi had this to say: “The machine’s architecture is tricky, and I don’t like Ken Kutaragi.”
On heels of the announcement that the former Sony President has stepped down, one can assume this is no longer a problem for the father of Final Fantasy. Hopefully for fans of Final Fantasy, his opinion will change later on.
