8-Bitham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is a cool (and fake) beat ’em up

I'm kind of weird when it comes to movies. The thing is, well, I don't really like watching them. I get bored easily, and sitting for a couple of hours just watching something unfold on its own isn't all that exciting to me. Sure, there are a number of movies that I absolutely adore (The Warriors is the best movie ever!), but for the most part, I'm not the guy you invite over to watch a movie, and I'm certainly not one to shell out $10 to sit in a theater and watch a giant screen in the dark. (Watching stuff in the dark annoys me.)

That said, I kind of want to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The reason for that is mainly because I have an affinity for the absurd. That said, despite my interest, I'll probably never watch it. That's just the type of guy I am. I don't really watch movies even if I think I'll enjoy them.

You know what I would like to do, though? I would like to play 8-Bitham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, a retro-style beat 'em up based on the film. Unfortunately, I won't be doing that, either. It's not that I don't want to, it's that I can't. See, 8-Bitham Lincoln, though a neat idea, is kind of fake. Yeah, it's not a real game at all.

Still, it looks kind of cool, and seeing a video game version of Abe Lincoln chopping up enemies with his ax and shooting them in the face with a shotgun is still pretty awesome. Check out the video (above) from creators Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatch.
