Bethesda ‘not satisfied’ with Skyrim Dawnguard on PS3, release still TBA

Now that Xbox 360 and PC users are able to download The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Dawnguard, the latest add-on for Bethesda's RPG which adds vampires and a new storyline, all that's left is PlayStation 3.

Unfortunately, it looks like PS3 users might have to wait a bit longer for the arrival of Dawnguard as Bethesda is not yet satisfied with Dawnguard's performance on the PS3.

"We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3," Bethesda wrote on their blog. "We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse."

"We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality," they added.

While I'm sure many PS3 fans are disappointed with this latest news, I'm sure we can all agree that it's a smarter move for Bethesda to wait until all of the kinks are worked out. The last thing we want is another problem with the PS3 similar to the ones we had at the launch of Skyrim.
