Bicycle Casino Games – PC – Review

Bicycle Casino games is a great way to satisfy that hunger for
gaming action when you just can’t get to the real thing. You can play at
Treasure Island, The Mirage, or Bellagio – three famous casinos on the Las Vegas
Strip. You can play 21 casino games in all. They are: Blackjack, Craps,
Roulette, Video Poker, Slots, Video Slots, Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker,
Progressive Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat, European
Roulette, Keno, The Big 6 Wheel, Seven Card Stud Poker, Five Card Draw Poker,
Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, Omaha Hold ‘Em Poker, Omaha 8’s or Better Poker (new), and
Razz Poker (new). All the games come with instructions and optional hint and
strategy buttons for those times you just are not quite sure what to do.

You can play any game and earn comps at all the bars and
restaurants, or play the casino challenge and become the ultimate high roller.
Sorry, the comps are only virtual, so if you’re thinking you’re going to get
some free drinks, you are sadly mistaken. Remember this is a virtual setting
here!!

You will come across 12 or so different characters that all have
their own personalities. They can become quite chatty while at the tables.
Though this can get annoying at times, it does add to the realism of the gaming
experience. Fortunately you can toggle how often they talk or silence them
completely. In fact you can toggle just about all the casino’s environments to
your liking for an enjoyable experience.

In my opinion the casino challenge is the best part of the game.
You are not only competing against the casino, but also other gamblers. The
object is to increase your bankroll over a set number of hands. Beat out some
other players and move on to the next casino. This gives a sense of
accomplishment and added re-playability. Otherwise you simply play your favorite
game and visit the virtual ATM if you need more cash.

Overall for a game that retails for about 20 bucks its not a bad
deal. The game is enjoyable and will provide many hours of gameplay.
Unfortunately this title has no multiplayer capability. The graphics and sounds
are about average for the genre, which is not to bad.

Review Scoring Details for Bicycle Casino Games

Gameplay: 8.0
The user interface is super easy to follow. Getting in the games and playing
is a snap. Though waiting for computer players to finish can slow a bit,
especially in poker.

Graphics: 7.0
Nothing fancy here, but hey this is simple stuff…right?

Sound: 7.0
The sound effects are realistic and the music is ok at best. This is not
exactly a title that relies on great sound effects to add realism to the
gameplay. Audibly this is probably as good as it gets for this type of genre.

Difficulty: Easy
This is a breeze to play whether your 12 or 112. Any age that understands
the games will be playing in no time.

Concept: 6.5
Nothing new about a casino title. I would have thought for sure there would
have been some sort of no limit type of poker to play, especially in the casino
challenge. I was quite disappointed to find that table missing in the poker
room, especially with all the hype that game gets.

Overall: 7.0
Average at best. For 20 bucks, it is probably worth the money.
