4.99, play Dragon Age 3 from beginning to end. Cancel sub!
Wont work that way. Only "EA Vault" games will be available to play to subscribers. And brand new games will not be in this "EA Vault". A subscription will gain you access to new demos before release like "Dragon Age Inquisition", and if you like it you can purchase the full game for 10% off full price as an EA access subscriber. So to clarify.... EA Access is a subscription based service that grants you access to a specific EA chosen library of games from the past and present but not brand new games. It also grants you early access to trials/demos and 10% off any EA related games/add-ons. So you wont be able to pay for the sub and play DA3 or BF Hardline for 5 bucks..Sorry. I would have assumed common sense would dictate that.

I like Dinklage as the Ghost now. I didn't at first but after many hours in the beta I have grown fond of Dinklages voice as the ghost and they are in separable now so better get use to it. Bungie this close to release isn't going to change that.

A little bit of a let down, but we don't know size and scale of the areas we didn't have access to in the Beta. So im still stoked, I didn't really enjoy the multiplayer that much it seemed rather generic for lack of a better term. The main story and missions were awesome enjoyed randomly kickin ass with other guardians and friends. So really looking forward to the game and will give multiplayer another go when the game is released.

Sold too bad for them to admit??
I think it's safe to say it was around 1 million sold give or take. MS looks at the XB1 as doing really well and being successful. Gamers look at it as if your not beating Playstation sales then Xbox isn't successful. It's a pretty shallow view from most gamers especially the biased ones.

How does a game studio and game publisher not putting out a game help them or gamers??? Honestly it wouldn't help. BF4 is already at optimum...
I thought the cops and robbers take on a Battlefield game was always a cool idea. and with Visceral being the main developer the single player will also hopefully be pretty swell. It is battlefield at its core but with a different theme and storyline. Nothing wrong with that. BF4 had/has too many issues and I for one look forward to moving on past it. It has it's moments of fun but plenty of moments of game breaking glitches. I understand their are people that went for the premium and feel slighted by a new BF coming out so soon. I didn't go premium right off the bat because I wanted to actually spend time with the game before I spent money on premium. And turns out I was glad I did. I may throw in BF4 every once in a blue moon for a match but I'd almost rather go back and play BF3 (which I do on occasion). This delay should assuage some fears of BF4 being eclipsed and losing players so soon after release.

"In closing, Troedsson reiterated that "in addition to the ongoing development of Hardline, it's important to note that the DICE teams continue to drive Battlefield 4. We continue to explore new opportunities for improvements and we are still releasing new content, including Dragon's Teeth, the fourth expansion pack that launches worldwide on July 29, and Final Stand coming later this year. We remain committed to giving you the best BF4 experience possible." There guys don't worry they aren't splitting resources or abandoning BF4. Give Hardline a chance beyond the Beta im pretty sure it will be a success for EA. They just delayed it to make improvements. "wait it's delayed? hows that possible EA forces devs to release games even if they are not finished" That is why I held DICE as more responsible for BF4's mess and game breaking issues. DICE likely could have had more time but they had overconfidence in post release patching or something.

I agree with the writers opinion. I also wonder when did it became common practice for a company to publish a new game from the same franchise when...
Resources are not split in two, Visceral is the main studio handling Hardline with DICE helping. You enjoyed four Battlefield franchise titles and then BF4 releases with launch issues and you abandon the franchise all together??? Yea that shows a person with completely rational judgment and logic, kind of a knee jerk reaction isn't it? There are plenty of Shooters that are 3-5 years old that are still "supported" so in your theory they should never make another game because it would "split" resources. You are grasping at straws. And with Visceral handling the bulk of that DICE will carry on support for BF4 and continue working on Star Wars. And fyi it's always about options. The company that gives it's consumers options always fairs far better and has more fans and consumers than a company with fewer options. It is an imagined issue of "if they release a new game that will take away resources from the game I like to play and I don't want that". That's not true and if you say it is then prove it. Show us proof of resources being allocated to Hardline that were originally intended for BF4. You cant because Hardline was in development at a separate studio (Visceral) for nigh 2 years before even BF4 was released byDICE. And all FPS are similar, story is what sets them apart. All Cod's are similar and that franchise has millions more fans than Battlefield. I don't want an annualized BF franchise but the proof is in these annualized Call of Duty games that are majorly popular. If you have multiple studios 2 games can be supported concurrently with ease there are more than enough resources at EA and more than enough FPS fans to financially support both titles with ease. And i'll say it again for fans options are always a good thing especially when it is two different games supported by two different studios working together on the same franchise. It is a great setup for both BF4 and Hardline.

I think the fact that Hardline has been in development for almost 3 years pretty much says its not just an "expansion pack" or DLC. ""frankly if you play Battlefield for the single player then your doing it wrong"". That's a pretty shallow statement and having that kind of outlook on FPS single player campaigns makes validating any of your opinions more difficult to other gamers. The annual CoD titles that sell millions of units every year year after year are proof enough that people will support games of the same franchise coming out back to back. Now I don't condone Battlefield being annualized and EA/DICE says it wont be so im not concerned about that. Automatically shooting down a Battlefield title that a studio has been developing for near 3 years because its too soon after BF4 is a pretty simplistic reason and one without merit. So I can clarify that a game being developed by Visceral/DICE for 3 years is not just an add-on/expansion pack or DLC. Just because games are alike in a franchise and released a year after the last one doesn't automatically justify complaining that you should have got it as DLC. Yea we all want more for less I get that. Don't buy Hardline plenty of people will if you do or don't wont really effect EA/DICE or Visceral. I tend to actually wait for games to be released before I make a decision like that. Because I like to make informed decisions not based on website articles/rumors/here say but rather my own experiences.
