After causing delays with the midnight release of Assassin's Creed 3, Hurricane Sandy isn't quite done messing with the gaming industry just yet. Users are currently experiencing connectivity issues preventing them from playing Call of Duty or any of Activision's other online titles.

"We're currently aware of the connectivity issues that customers are experiencing with some of our online titles at this time," Activision said of the service disruption. "This is due to the storm that is currently affecting the Eastern Coast of the US."

"We are investigating the issue and thank you for your patience."

Hurricane Sandy has left much of the northeast coast of the United States in a state of devastation. The storm's winds and rain caused power outages in much of the northeast resulting in not just Activision's servers being affected, but many service providers as well. Both Gawker Media and the Huffington Post went offline for much of today due to power outages.
