Insomniac Games wild and crazy shooter Sunset Overdrive isn't set to release until later this month, but starting today, Xbox One owners can pre-order and pre-download the eagerly anticipated exclusive.
Pre-loading the game won't mean you get it play it early, though. It simply means you may download the game ahead of its release, so that when it does become playable on October 28 (at 12:01am EDT), you don't have to wait to download and install it. That means you won't have to stay up loate chugging Overcharge Delirium XT just to have the energy to stay up and play.
There are currently two versions of Sunset Overdrive available for pre-order: the Pre-order Edition and the Day One Deluxe Edition. Download either one from the Microsoft Xbox Store.
