Destiny update fixes Vault of Glass exploit

Time to play fair

While the primary focus of today's update in Destiny was aimed at balancing weapons, there were also quite a few other fixes and tweaks thrown in. For starters, Bungie closed another Legendary Engram farming location. Sure, it sucks, but at this point most of you are probably doing Vault of Glass for your items anyway.

Unfortunately, this raid might have gotten a bit more harder as today's update removed an exploit that previously allowed Guardians to defeat the Templar quickly and easily. Previously, Guardians would be able to jump to one of the distant sniper platforms, have a player run to pick up the Relic and then jump back to the platform where the rest of the team is waiting. From there, you would simply wait for the Oracles to curse you, cleanse it with the Relic, and then snipe the boss from a safe distance. This method will no longer work.

According to today's patch notes, kill volume has been to the sniper platforms which should prevent you from sitting on top of them, and the Relic can no longer be taken out of the playable area. If the Relic holder leaves the main  platform area, the Relic will be removed and respawned in its original location.

Let's be honest, though, with all of the other exploits found in the game, you probably should be well-enough equipped to complete this portion of the raid without much problem.
