Sunset Overdrive may be exclusive to Xbox One, but its font isn't. In announcing the "Sale of the Dead" for PlayStation this week, it looks like Sony borrowed the same font used for Sunset Overdrive. And the official Twitter account for the upcoming game didn't let it go unnoticed.
Hey @Playstation. Nice font. Glad you guys are excited for @SunsetOverdrive too. https://t.co/Xb6qzqrN43

As to avoid any controversy, Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac Games was quick to point out that the font, which is called "Overdrive Sunset," is "public/free [with] our blessing." Given that the studio is working on a Ratchet & Clank game for PS4, I'm assuming that they either gave their blessing or don't feel like starting a feud with the platform holder.
Of course, that didn't stop the fanboys from attempting to start a verbal war. Insomniac did their best to avoid such flame war, but you know how the internet can be. Regardless of what gamers thing, Insomniac assured there are "no bad vibes" with Sony using the Sunset Overdrive font.
@TheOddSquadClan @SunsetOverdrive @PlayStation There's no bad vibes! We're happy & still working on projects w/ Sony too! #RachetReimagined
