Don't feel like fighting the crowds on Black Friday? Why wait until November 28 to play the games you want, but don't want to pay full price for? How about a jump start on your holiday shopping?
If any of what I just said sounds appealing to you, then head over to Target or Best Buy sometime during the week of November 9. Notorious video game leaker Wario64 looks to have gotten hold of each retailer's weekly ads, and posted the supposed deals ahead of time.
Best Buy is planning to run a buy one, get one half off deal on all 3DS games from Nintendo. This includes Mario Kart 7, Super Smash Bros. 3DS, Pokemon X, Fantasy Life, Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. There's also a $25 discount on the 3DS XL itself. Xbox One deals include the $349.99 Xbox One with Kinect Assassin's Creed Unity Bundle, and 50% off a 3 months of Xbox LIVE.
Meanwhile, Target will offer a buy two, get one free for all video games on all platforms. This includes new releases like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Nov. 4), Halo: The Master Chief Collection (Nov. 11), Assassin's Creed Unity (Nov. 11), as well as some of this year's biggest blockbusters like Destiny, Madden NFL 15, and Mario Kart 8.
Not a bad start to November. If these are the types of deals that get us warmed up for Black Friday, then I can't wait to see what retailers are planning to bust out for the big discount day.
