So far, I haven't really seen much about the story in Far Cry 4. Why does your character go to Kyrat? Who is Pagan Min? Is he a sociopath? Are you a sociopath? Or perhaps a psychopath? Perhaps some of those questions might have to be answered when we actually get our hands on the game November 18th, however the story trailer does give us a brief glimpse at what's going on.
Your character, Ajay Ghale, travels to Kyrat to fulfill his mother's dying wish, and spread her ashes there. Of course, things go south and Ajay finds himself in the middle of a civil war, and Pagan Min sits at the top. It'll be up to you to survive the dangerous wilderness, find allies, and make every decision count.
Ubisoft has coined the tagline "every second is a story," and given the crazy nature of Far Cry 3, I hope that's the case. Far Cry 3 still remains one of my favorite open-world sandbox games, and was my personal game of the year of 2012, so this game has a lot to live up to.
