There are plenty of games that never see a release in certain regions due to certain aspects of the game, this time Dragon Age: Inquisition will not be seeing the light of day in India.
Inquisition's publisher, EA, canceled all pre-orders for the game in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The reason? If the player plays as a male character, they have the option of having a romantic and sexual relationship with a male character that is a key player in the story. This character will only have a relationship with another male. In a statement on the cancelation EA stated:
"In order to avoid a breach of local content laws, EA has withdrawn Dragon Age: Inquisition from sale in India and the game is no longer available for pre-order. All affected purchases for Dragon Age: Inquisition will be refunded. This applies regardless of payment method or date of purchase. Customers who pre-ordered the game will be contacted directly and will be fully refunded."
If pre-orders were made in those regions, it shows obvious intention for the sale of Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to release on November 18th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS4 and PS3.
