Thanks to ongoing DDoS attacks from Lizard Squad, PlayStation Network remains down for a second straight day. According to the official status page, PSN is listed as "offline"; however, there are some reports that claim the outage is only on PlayStation 4.
While PS3 users are apparently able to get online with no problem, PS4 users are still having access problems. Attempting to access the PlayStation Store on my PS4, I was greeted with the error code "NW-31201-7." The outages are also prevening PS4 players from enjoying the online components of games like Destiny and Grand Theft Auto 5.
Sony, which has been pretty sparse in its updates, said most recently that they are still continuing to resolve the network issues, but have no estimated time for when PSN services might be back up.
Our engineers are continuing to work hard to resolve the network issues users have experienced today. Thanks for your continued patience!

The DDoS attacks have been ongoing for two days now. Lizard Squad initially brought down both Xbox LIVE and PSN; however, it seems now that the group is focused solely on PSN.
Right now there's a number of "Lizard Squad" accounts on Twitter, making it hard to tell which ones are real and which are fake. For instance, last night @LizardMafia claimed the attacks were done and that any disruptions were "just the aftermath" of the attacks. However, a second account insists that the attacks will continue on PSN. We don't really know what to believe anymore but here's just a snippet of some of the annoying tweets from one of the accounts claiming to target PSN.
Were keeping psn off till everyone gets Xbox hha! https://t.co/ybC45xfeKg
